3) What compelled me to choose this article was the pictures. They are all very well composed and say a lot although they don't have a bunch of "things" in the photographs. I definitely get a sense of destruction or a painfully ordinary the subjects of the photograph are. The actual article is an interview with the photographer about his art. He's asked questions like, what his exhibits are about, does he prefer a DSLR or tape camera, etc. Most of the article is about what he does as a photographer and hoe he does it. Because of this I found myself a little disinterested in the article. The part that talked more about what he likes/looks for in his photographs were more interesting.

3) What got my attention about this article was the picture. I found it to be quiet charming, like there was telling a whole story about a man and his birds with only one frame. The picture is called Matisse with white doves. Clearly, the author of the article felt the same way because a lot of the article talks about the picture and how he acquired it for Henri Cartier-Bresson. If anything I was curious about what I read. I wish he talked about what made Henri have the birds in the picture, did they mean anything special to the man in the picture or are they just his pets? Overall, I enjoyed it.

3) The compelling thing about this article, that made me click on the was its title, "Looking for Jesus". It caught my attention because you don't hear about too many people looking for Jesus. Just by using those choice of words, it sounded like they were literally looking for Jesus in the same way someone would look for their keys. This is weird considering that Jesus has been long gone for over 2000 years you would think one wouldn't look for HIm. The article was about a Polish artist that comes to Jerusalem to meet and talk with various people with "Jerusalem syndrome"-or believe they are characters in the Bible. She documented these people through pictures and a video (that we couldn't watch unfortunately). This article talked about some of her encounters and experiences. I thought the article was interesting and I really wish they had the video too. It honestly sounds like it would be something you would see on a TV show sitcom.
